The portable shrine is paraded through the hot spring town while being bathed in hot water.
Along the route, 1,000 barrels and approximately 5,000 buckets filled with hot spring water are prepared, and spectators pour approximately 60 tons of hot water vigorously onto the mikoshi.
In no time, the carriers were completely soaked.Both the spectators pouring hot water on the mikoshi and the people being poured over them have broad smiles on their faces, and the mikoshi carriers and the spectators lining the route become one in excitement, creating a seasonal sight that represents Yugawara.

We have four casual guest rooms and a dining hall exclusively for the Kaikoan guest rooms.

As its name suggests, Kaikoan is a guest room with a terrace and a private dining hall where you can enjoy the blue waters of Sagami Bay Bay and the moonlight reflecting off the water at night.The dining hall is the only facility in Yugawara where you can have breakfast on the terrace.The concept is for women traveling alone, and we would like you to enjoy a casual one-night stay with breakfast only.The spacious terrace also offers the Best Yugawara.
Please refrain from bringing children to stay at Kaikoan.
※Please refrain from having breakfast on the terrace on rainy days or when wild monkeys are present.
